Trying some crosshatch shading effects this time around, which brings up another set of issues – how fabric drapes on forms.

In addition, pacing and exposition was a challenge in this one.  Comics demand that you show and not tell, but too little exposition and you lose the audience, or you give too much and you’re filling half a panel with a text box.  Suffice it to say, assume the audience is smart.

That’s why you end up drawing Montey coming up the right hand side at first, then decide to check where the cruise control button should be… then erasing all that work and drawing him coming up the left side…
